My life has rarely followed a predictable route. I left school early, have changed industries several times, lived and worked internationally, built a business, lost everything, returned to education later in life to study in my 30s and again in my 40s then built another business all while dealing with ordinary life - heartbreaks, rejection and grief.
Today, I work in international real estate, run Salon Studios (the UK's first Salon Suite company), have written my first book and built my positive psychology business and community.
I hold an MBA and an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology, but my approach to change hasn't come from qualifications alone. In fact, the qualifications came after a lot of change had already happened.
At times changes have been my only option. Other times it's come from recognising when something no longer fits, drawing upon the strengths and experience I already have and taking the next step before every answer is available.
